L’invitation au voyage is a solo vocal recital by critically acclaimed rising star baritone Zhou Zhengzhong, lauded by famous tenor Carlo Bergonzi as a “Master of Verdi” and conductor Sir Antonio Pappano as having an exquisite tonality and perfect cantabile. Featuring a selection of operatic arias and art and folks songs, including music by Duparc, Verdi and Rossini, this concert follows his highly-praised last appearance here in the principal role of Marcello in the Singapore Symphony Orchestra’s sold-out semi-staging of Puccini’s La Bohème in 2018.
